Before you sign up to volunteer, please make sure you complete a GISD Volunteer Application. Remember this needs to be completed EVERY year by ANY volunteer within the school setting. This includes Field Trips, Tuesday Folders, Field Day, Sight Word Reading Program, Watch DOGS, etc.
Anyone who would like to volunteer must:
provide a photo ID to the front office
complete an online application, which can be done at home or in the main office
a background check will be performed using the Raptor Volunteer Management System.
you will receive an email to notify you when you may begin volunteering.
